Online ANC Questions
Is an online ANC legally valid?
Yes. You sign a Power of Attorney giving our representative authority to sign the ANC for you before a notary. It is then lodged and registered at the Deeds Office in the normal way.
We live overseas. Can we still do this?
Yes. Many of our online clients are South Africans living abroad. We'll arrange the courier and talk you through any extra steps for documents signed outside South Africa.
Do we both need to be on the video call?
Yes. We need to see each of you sign. It takes a few minutes and we book it at a time that suits you.
How long does it take?
About a week from consultation to signing, or 1 to 2 working days with Express. Deeds Office registration then takes about 4 weeks.
